He is dedicated to the tenets of financial planning, a rigorous, holistic view of wealth, assets, income and contingency planning. These tenets are expressed through his PEAK financial planning process, a framework for understanding his clients’ needs and goals so he can best create a plan tailored to their lives.

Josh is service-minded and inviting. His warm demeanor and genuine care for others helps people feel at ease to discuss matters that we are taught are not to be discussed. He works well with others who have any range of financial knowledge, working to create a real partnership rooted in mutual understanding.

Josh starts his guidance by taking the time to understand you. He works with individuals and families, and particularly business owners, whose financial considerations are often more complex than those of other investors.

Josh’s clients benefit from his nearly three decades of experience navigating world events and the twists of the market, as well as his commitment to lifelong education and his pursuit of best practices in service to his clients’ needs.

In addition to his academic degree, a bachelor’s degree in finance from Colorado State University, Josh has achieved several rigorous professional designations, each representing a distinct facet of people’s complex lives and financial needs.

He is a Certified Financial Planner^™ professional, the result of rigorous education and examination requirements and upholding the high principles of his profession. This designation represents his commitment to long-term financial planning. He has also earned the Certified Investment Management Analyst® designation, which focuses on investment securities, assets and investment management.

And as he has earned the Certified Exit Planning Advisor^™ designation, Josh has demonstrated his mastery of complex financial issues unique to business owners. Working with a CEPA can help business owners navigate the complex and emotional process of exiting their business and harvesting its wealth.

He is also experienced in handling sensitive financial matters surrounding divorce, with one or both parties, to ensure clients have a clear understanding of their financial picture and a path forward to a new tomorrow. To support that role, he has earned the Certified Divorce Financial Analyst designation.

Josh offers a broad range of financial services, including financial planning, investing, estate planning, business succession planning and business owner equity planning.

He is an active member of the community, serving in a variety of roles for essential local organizations, including as a member of the board of CASA of the Pikes Peak Region.

Josh has two sons, Cord and Adam. He is proud to have his life’s work become a family tradition as Cord is now a member of the Fulcrum Wealth Consulting team. Outside the office, you may find Josh on the golf course or pickleball court or trekking through Colorado in his Volkswagen van with his two French bulldogs onboard.
