Meet Wes! He’s a friendly financial advisor who believes every story is unique, and his is no exception. Wes kicked off his career in 2007 at Oak Knoll Financial Strategies as a property and casualty insurance agent. But as time went on, he discovered a passion for the financial side of things. With a lot of hard work and determination, he earned his Series 7 and 66 licenses in 2012. Fast forward to 2019, and Wes proudly became a Certified Financial Planner^® professional!

Wes truly loves working with families and individuals, helping them review their accounts and make sure their financial plans are on track to reach their goals. Whether it’s saving for a special trip, investing for the future, or planning for college, he enjoys diving in and finding solutions to any concerns. Wes knows that his team’s diverse skills make a huge difference, and he values the teamwork that leads to thoughtful, practical solutions.

Outside of work, Wes is all about giving back to his community. He actively volunteers at his church and participates in local events like ShareFest and the Wilmington 209U Foundation for Excellence. His commitment to helping others shines through in everything he does!

And did we mention he loves music? Wes plays the tuba and has a great time performing with several bands, including the Wilmington Area Community Band and the River Valley Wind Ensemble. Music brings him joy, and he’s always up for a jam session!

Wes has called Wilmington home since 1992 and is a firm believer that riding a bike is the best way to get around. He even earned the office award for burning the least amount of gas while commuting—because he rides his bike to work every day, even in the winter! When he’s not cycling around town, you might catch him fixing up bikes to donate to those in need.

Wes’s journey is filled with community engagement and a whole lot of heart. He’s not just a financial advisor; he’s a caring friend ready to support you in achieving your dreams!
