“As you wish!” – Wesley in The Princess Bride
There is not much Michael has not tackled in his career as a financial planner and financial advisor. Working primarily with business owners, executives, and professionals brings him to the forefront of financial decisions that require careful coordination with lawyers, accountants, administrators, and team members within our own office. As the backbone to his clients’ financial team, he takes great care in providing the guidance and resources that help his clients find a sense of comfort in their financial path.
Many of his clients have spent their careers in service to others. Michael takes great joy in seeing the work we do bear fruit as his clients transition into their newest phase with a smile (and sometimes happy tears).
Michael’s vision as a business owner extends beyond the firm to our community. A firm believer that charitable giving should be a cost of doing business, he has been instrumental in the development of the Hickok & Boardman Capital Management Charitable Endowment Fund.
With four children and a dog, life can be quite eventful for Michael and his wife, Mirjam. In the quieter moments, he enjoys unwinding by playing the guitar.
