Dawson Carpenter,

As a next-gen advisor, Dawson contributes a fresh perspective to our advisor team and clients. He spends his days conducting research to optimize our client holdings, trading and rebalancing accounts, and creating financial plans for client meetings.

Dawson’s mission is to help clients feel empowered in their financial lives. Analytical and genuine, Dawson applies his experience in the insurance industry and his passion for research and problem-solving to offer his clients the most strategic pathways toward their goals. He prides himself on building meaningful relationships with everyone he serves, letting his sense of integrity and duty to his clients guide all he does.

A graduate of Oakland University, Dawson holds a bachelor’s degree in finance with a minor in economics. He worked as a financial professional at Prudential before joining Raymond James in 2022. Dawson was inspired to join the financial world during his senior year of high school, when a course on compound interest sparked his determination to help others “let their dollars work for them.” He was eventually drawn to the team at Peninsula Private Wealth of Raymond James for their faith-based values and elevated professional standards.

Dawson makes it a point to give back to his community. A lifelong musician, he serves as music director of the youth and young adult groups at the Apostolic Church of Auburn Hills, where he also sings and plays the piano and drums. In addition, Dawson served as president of AC Oakland student organization at Oakland University and earned the Oakland University Distinguished Scholar Award.

Born in Springfield, Missouri, Dawson spent most of his life in Auburn Hills before relocating to Lake Orion with his wife, Victoria. He is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys competing in triathlons.
