Currie Martin,

AAMS Investment Executive, RJFS

Currie is committed to helping clients achieve a “championship mindset” when it comes to reaching their financial goals. As a former college tennis coach for more than 11 years, he believes having a personalized game plan and strategy for each client is the key to success.

A native of Oxford, MS, Currie attended Western Kentucky University on a tennis scholarship. While at WKU, he earned bachelor’s degrees in both Marketing and Economics. He then became a graduate assistant for the director of athletics while earning his Master’s degree in Economics.

Upon graduation, Currie could not ignore the call to coach and help others. He embarked on a tennis coaching career with assistant coaching stops at Mary Washington and Sewanee before becoming a head coach at Centre College for eight years. During his tennis career, Currie coached teams and players to five conference championships, two NCAA Sweet-16 appearances, nine NCAA All-Americans, over 60 All-Conference Athletes, and over 100 ITA Scholar Athletes.

After a successful tennis coaching career, Currie joined FNB Investment services during the summer of 2023. He believes he is now a “financial coach” for his clients. When asked what he enjoys most about his new career in finance he says, “Guiding clients through their financial journey is very similar to coaching high-level athletes. The priority is cultivating great relationships while building trust and confidence so that together we can achieve a common goal.”

Currie is married to Lincoln County native, Linsey Grubbs. They reside in Stanford with their daughter, Anna Currie Martin.
