I am fascinated by the financial markets and feel particularly fulfilled by helping our clients navigate complex financial issues. The fast-paced and competitive industry was a natural fit for me and keeps me driven every day to help our clients improve their financial lives.

Tom supports our institutional clients, helping clients with their 401(k) plans, pension plans, trusts, foundations and endowments. He conducts investment analysis, prepares investment policy statements, and creates strategies for offering competitive plans and helps plan sponsors meet their fiduciary responsibilities. His goal is also to help ensure that plan participants are prepared for retirement and equipped with the necessary tools to make informed decisions as it relates to retirement and their financial lives.

Tom obtained the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM certification demonstrating his commitment to continued learning.  He is also a Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor and an Accredited Investment Fiduciary, illustrating his focus to building and maintaining strong retirement plans for companies and employees.

Tom first joined The Mahoney Group at Merrill Lynch in 2013 and transitioned with the team to Raymond James in 2015. He earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the State University of New York. He is a member of Beta Alpha Psi, an accounting, finance and information systems international honor society.
