Raymond James welcomes Colorado advisor duo managing over $170 million in assets

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Raymond James recently welcomed financial advisors Jordan S. Smith and Andrew M. Kret, RICP®, to Raymond James Financial Services (RJFS) – the firm’s independent advisor channel – according to Joanna Bever, Central regional director for RJFS.

The team arrives from Northwestern Mutual Investment Services, where they managed approximately $170 million in client assets. As Zenith Wealth Partners, based in Lakewood, Colorado, the team provides comprehensive wealth management and financial planning guidance to corporate executives, pre-retirees, retirees, families, individuals and family offices. They are joined by Client Services Manager Angie Kadey and Financial Services Associate Jordan “JB” Bruns.

“Our work begins with understanding each client’s full financial picture and building a plan around what matters most to them,” said Smith. “Raymond James gives our team the independent platform, planning resources and support to continue delivering thoughtful, education-driven advice while helping clients navigate retirement, legacy and wealth transfer decisions with confidence.”

Smith is dedicated to delivering comprehensive, goals-based planning and specializes in tax-efficient planning across life stages, with an emphasis on retirement income and distribution strategies. He joins RJFS after 17 years at Northwestern Mutual Investment Services and leads the practice as founder of Zenith Wealth Partners and wealth advisor.

Kret, partner of Zenith Wealth Partners and wealth manager, leads the practice’s financial planning efforts with a focus on asset management, risk mitigation and tax mitigation strategies. A native of Colorado, he has over 15 years of financial services experience and earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
