Raymond James welcomes South Carolina financial advisor managing over $250 million
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Raymond James recently welcomed financial advisor Laura Blanton to Raymond James & Associates (RJA) – the firm’s employee advisor channel – in Greenville, South Carolina, according to Courtland Williams, Mid-Atlantic regional director for RJA.
Blanton leads Blanton Wealth Management of Raymond James and, alongside client service associate Bethany Hermelin, provides personalized wealth management services for a unique mix of clients, including corporate executives, families and individuals living in or planning for retirement. Blanton arrives from Wells Fargo, where she previously managed approximately $252 million in client assets. She joins RJA’s Greenville complex, led by complex manager Brian Flemmer.

Blanton began her financial services career in 2002 when she joined A.G. Edwards, which later became Wells Fargo Advisors. She became a financial advisor with the company in 2014. Blanton is a graduate of North Greenville University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in English.
