Each day, you’ll arrive at your branch office, knowing that everything you need to make it easier to serve your clients – fellow professionals, a dedicated support team, an extensive product platform, forward-looking technology and easy access to a powerful home office – is right there waiting. And, more important, you’ll know the book of business you’ve worked hard to build is yours to keeping growing.

To help you dig deeper into what being a traditional employee advisor entails – and what you can expect as part of Raymond James – we’ve provided answers to the questions advisors ask most.

How will I be compensated?

You’ll receive up to a 50% payout – your specific percentage will depend on your mix of business and production. As an employee advisor with Raymond James, you’ll have access to our long-term incentive plan (LTIP), retention bonuses, profit sharing plan, employee stock ownership plan, employee stock purchase plan (ESPP) and 401k plan, as well as a voluntary deferred compensation plan.

Where will I work?

We will partner with you to locate available office space if we don’t have an existing branch office in your market.

What resources will I have access to?

Own your book of business and work in a branch setting where service, technology and operations associates support you locally, with all the resources of the home office serving you.

Enjoy a full-service branch setting, but with more flexibility and control than you will find in any other traditional partnership. You’ll build your own brand or leverage the Raymond James brand, while you enjoy support from your local team, branch and operations managers so you can focus your attention on your clients and growing your business.
