Raymond James welcomes Connecticut financial advisor managing approximately $150 million

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Raymond James recently welcomed financial advisor Seth Diamond, CFP®, CLTC®, AWMA, to Raymond James & Associates (RJA) – the firm's employee advisor channel ­– in Glastonbury, Connecticut, according to Kelly Anderson, Northeast divisional director for RJA.

Diamond arrives from Janney Montgomery Scott, where he managed approximately $150 million in client assets. He provides personalized financial planning to a variety of clients including families, individuals and pre-retirees as a part of RJA’s Glastonbury branch.

With over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, Diamond holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM, Accredited Wealth Management AdvisorTM and Certification for Long-Term Care® professional designations. He began his career in 1982 at Shearson Lehman Brothers and most recently spent 11 years at Janney Montgomery Scott. His professional experience is backed by a bachelor’s degree in economics from Franklin & Marshall college and an MBA from the Stern School of Business at New York University. Additionally, Diamond served as an adjunct assistant professor of Financial Management at the NYU School of Professional Studies, where he lectured on applied technical analysis.
