Adele Gipson, CFA, CFP®, CPA
Adele Gipson is an experienced financial professional with more than 25 years of expertise and a strong philosophy of putting the client first. Well-versed in planning, taxes* and investment management, she specializes in seeing the big picture and is adept at communicating the vision to the client. Adele demonstrates a commitment of professional excellence, having attained some of the most respected designations in the profession – Chartered Financial Analyst®, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certificant and Certified Public Accountant. A magna cum laude graduate of Christian Brothers College, she earned a degree in business administration and led the college basketball team as a point guard.
Adele began her career as a tax and audit associate with PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLC. She then joined BellSouth Corporation, amassing more than 15 years of valuable experience in a variety of capacities: She generated significant tax savings as a tax advisor, oversaw their financial business and planning process, and managed $5 billion of international equity investments for BellSouth’s pension plans. In 2008, she joined Consolidated Planning Corporation as a financial advisor.
In the community, Adele currently serves as a board member of The Wylde Center, a 501(c) (3) seeking to cultivate green spaces in Atlanta. She previously served as treasurer on the board of Our House, leading the organization’s strategic efforts in a successful merger with Genesis Shelter, doubling their mission’s reach. She is also a proud member of Raymond James Women’s Advisory Council, Raymond James Black Financial Advisor Network and Raymond James Trust Advisory Council.
When she’s not providing comprehensive financial services for her clients, you’ll find her traveling in places like Italy or New Zealand, playing tennis or riding her motorcycle in the north Georgia mountains.
