John Schoppe
John joined Raymond James in 2007, and has worked on and around the business development team for his entire tenure. From calling advisors for potential interest in Raymond James, to becoming the manager of sales and technology for the Private Client Group, John has been a valuable asset to the firm in all capacities. Before joining Raymond James, John was a financial advisor, a district manager, and a field vice president with Ameriprise.
John earned his bachelor’s degree in business and economics from the University of Maine at Farmington. He holds the Wealth Management Specialist and the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor professional designations. Additionally, John holds his Series 4, 7, 24, 51 and 66 licenses.
Outside of work, John has worked with Habitat for Humanity and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Both he and his wife, Ingrid, enjoy working out, playing competitive kickball, and spending time with their dachshund, Pedey.
