Scott has worked at the home office of Raymond James in many capacities. Early in his career, he spent time in the firm's Equity Capital Markets division in roles within equity research and syndicate. Following those roles, he served as a high-net-worth consultant including serving as head of concentrated equity consulting. While working in the company's Wealth Solutions group, he specialized in assisting financial advisors in serving high-net-worth corporate executive clients. It was there he first collaborated with Sam Aspinwall, developing the firm's corporate executive consulting efforts.

Scott specialized in concentrated equity and equity-based compensation issues. While many of the details were technical in nature, he discovered he had the ability to effectively explain these complx topics and communicate well with his clients. He also applied his knowledge by contributing to the development of important company projects such as the annual Raymond James Analyst's Best Picks structured notes and the Guggenheim Raymond James SB-1 Equity Fund (NYSE-RYJ).

After working with Sam for several years, both realized their skills complemented one another and they made a good team. Today, they work together at Aspinwall Executive Consulting to handle the financial needs of their corporate executive clients.Scott is currently a Chartered Financial Analyst® and is in the process of earning his Certified Equity Professional designation. He has a Bachelor of Business Administration from Notre Dame, and spent several summers during his college career working as an intern at Raymond James.

He is committed to sharing his time and expertise with many church and civic organizations. Scott has served as an elder and finance chair for Trinity Presbyterian Church in Clearwater, Florida; chair of the Belcher Elementary School Advisory Council; founder and member of the Raymond James Optimist Club; member of the advisory board for the Police Athletic League of St. Petersburg; and a mentor for the Northeast High School Academy of Finance.

Born in St. Joseph, Michigan, Scott moved to St. Petersburg with his family when he was five years old. He currently lives in Clearwater with his wife Sunny and children Trent, Brady and Logan. In his free time, he enjoys Notre Dame football and spending time with his family.
