Samantha Trebesch joined Raymond James Renewable Energy Investments as a Managing Director in 2025. In this capacity, she plays a pivotal role in expanding the firm's renewable energy tax credit business. Samantha leverages her extensive expertise in Sustainable Investing to identify and secure new investment opportunities as well as collaborate closely with developers, financial institutions, and other stakeholders to structure and finance these projects.

She was previously Senior Vice President, Head of Advisor Inclusion and Sustainable Investing for the Private Client Group of Raymond James Financial. In this role, she led two impact-oriented departments supporting financial advisors’ growth through deepened peer and client relationships. Her Advisor Inclusion Networks team focused on advisor recruiting and retention of 1,800 financial professionals across the US, UK, and Canada, while her Sustainable Investing team led a multi-faceted product and planning engine sustaining over $10 billion in client assets. She ran multiple conferences annually and is a dynamic public speaker on topics ranging from sustainability and inclusive economies to client engagement and business productivity.

Samantha has been featured on the cover of Aspire magazine for women financial advisors, as a guest columnist for ThinkAdvisor and the Tampa Bay Business Journal, and as an industry expert on podcasts, webinars, and conference stages around the country. In 2022, she was named to InvestmentNews’ 40 Under 40 for her work pioneering sustainable investing at Raymond James. Under her leadership, Raymond James has received numerous awards from InvestmentNews, Money Management Institute, and Barron’s for excellence in gender inclusion, best new inclusive programming, and outstanding achievement and innovation in values-based investing.

Samantha holds a leadership role on Raymond James’ Corporate Responsibility Committee, sits on SIFMA’s Sustainable Finance Roundtable, and recently ended her term as national co-chair of Raymond James’ Women’s Inclusion Network for employees.

Prior to joining Raymond James in 2017 as an Assistant to the Chair focused on corporate strategy, Samantha was a career mathematics and computer science educator, teaching college prep courses and leading teaching teams as mathematics department chair. She holds a Bachelor of Science from Boston University and a Master of Business Administration from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, where she serves as a mentor for Kellogg’s Sustainable Investing Challenge. She is also a 2024 graduate of SIMFA’s Securities Industry Institute at The Wharton School.
