Craig Demoss

Director

Craig’s primary role as Director includes the trading and analysis of whole loan portfolios including residential mortgages, consumer loans, commercial mortgages and payment processing. His primary responsibilities include consulting and advising financial institutions with the loan side of their balance sheet and providing market color while focusing on portfolio analysis, transaction management and structuring/trading of whole loan and participation loan transactions.    

In the payments arena, Craig has extensive experience in portfolio and enterprise sales, exit strategies and valuation of partnership solutions and has represented more than 100 financial institutions, ranging in asset size from $500 million to $15 billion, on the sale and ongoing partnership of their merchant processing and credit card issuing operations.

Craig joined Morgan Keegan in 2002, which was acquired by Raymond James in 2012. His previous role was in asset/liability management for Morgan Keegan’s Fixed Income Research division. Responsibilities included providing balance sheet strategies, swaps and leverages for financial institutions from a balance sheet approach to mitigate risk.

Craig holds a bachelor’s degree in finance and information technology management from Christian Brothers University in Memphis, Tennessee. He also holds his Series 7 and 63 securities licenses
