Jay Eastman

Jay Eastman joined Raymond James in 2014 from Oppenheimer & Co Inc. where he was a managing director in the consumer group and the head of the firm’s consumer products practice. Before his time at Oppenheimer & Co Inc., Mr. Eastman worked with CIBC World Markets as a managing director. Even before his opportunity with CIBC World Markets, he was a managing director in the Alex. Brown and Deutsch Bank Alex. Brown consumer and business services group from 1993 to 2002. From 1990 to 1993, Mr. Eastman worked as a part of the Alex. Brown restructuring group and before that worked at Drexel Burnham Lambert.

Over the course of his career in the mid-cap investment banking arena, Mr. Eastman has undertaken advisory, debt and equity transactions for leading companies, exceeding over $40 billion in transaction value. Mr. Eastman received an MBA from the Tuck School at Dartmouth and a bachelor’s degree from Bowdoin College.
