Tim Killgoar
Tim Killgoar currently serves as division director for the Southeast division at Raymond James & Associates, leading a team of nearly 1,400 financial advisors across eight states.
Immediately prior to his current role, Tim led the RJA business in its home state of Florida as regional director.
Tim previously worked in the firm’s independent broker/dealer leading the Financial Institutions Division and supporting over 900 advisors, working with the most sophisticated bank and credit union investment programs across the country.
From 2010 to 2015, Tim directed the client experience and marketing strategy efforts for Raymond James Financial, following two years supporting Raymond James’ strategic and operational initiatives as an assistant to the chairman.
Tim has had significant experience within the banking and brokerage industries on a variety of initiatives ranging from strategy to process engineering to technology implementation. Prior to joining Raymond James in 2008, Tim worked as an internal consultant with Bank of America, focusing on domestic and overseas operational and technology integration projects, and as a consultant for Andersen LLP in the financial services practice. Tim holds Series 7, 24 and 66 licenses.
Tim earned his MBA from the University of Texas and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Princeton University where he also captained the Tigers baseball team.
He and his wife Christina have lived in Tampa for 17 years with their two children, Kelsey (16) and Ryan (13). A Massachusetts native, Tim is an avid supporter of all Boston sports but also enjoys cheering on the local teams in his adopted hometown of Tampa.
