Tom Walrond is senior vice president, divisional director of the Eastern Division of Raymond James & Associates, which consists of over 130 locations in Florida, Alabama, Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and Washington, D.C.

Tom joined Raymond James in 1998 as a branch manager in Philadelphia, attracted by the firm’s client-centered philosophy and culture of independence. Eight years later, he was promoted to complex manager of the North Atlantic Complex, and following the Morgan Keegan acquisition in 2012 was promoted to regional director of the North Atlantic Region. Prior to being named the divisional director of the Eastern Division, Tom was the chief operating officer and senior vice president of the Raymond James & Associates Private Client Group from March 2014 to February 2017.

Tom attended the Securities Industry Institute at Wharton from 1999 to 2001 and Harvard University’s Authentic Leadership Development Program in 2011. Also that year, Tom was named Raymond James & Associates Complex Manager of the Year. He graduated from Drexel University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration.

Tom and his wife, Julie, reside in St. Petersburg and have three children.
