Kit Hazel

Kit Hazel joined the Raymond James Renewable Energy Investments group in 2025. Prior to Raymond James, Kit co-founded TReK Capital Partners where he focused on renewable energy and small business investing. During his time at TReK Kit focused on all aspects of renewable energy tax credit investments including investor relations, deal underwriting, transaction structuring, accounting and asset management. Investments at TReK spanned a variety of renewable energy technologies such as solar, wind, battery storage, fuel cells and natural gas. Prior experience includes over a half-decade at an investment firm in St. Louis where he led renewable energy financing efforts and a role at PricewaterhouseCoopers where he performed external audit functions for clients across an array of industries. Kit earned his master’s in accountancy from the University of Missouri. He is a licensed CPA (inactive) in Missouri.
