Tyler Brass

Tyler Brass brought a wealth of experience to the Northeast division when he joined Raymond James in 2015. Originally from upstate New York, Tyler graduated from Roanoke College and William and Mary School of Law. He then went on to practice bankruptcy and labor and employment law for several years before becoming a financial advisor with Smith Barney. He subsequently became a principal in the compliance department at Cadaret, Grant in Syracuse, and was AXA’s national RFP director for their employer-sponsored plans.

His prolific experience eventually led him to Raymond James, beginning with a position in the compliance department. Shortly thereafter, Tyler became one of our regulatory attorneys representing various aspects of the Raymond James business while helping to protect our advisors, clients, and the company. As one of the new Assistant Divisional Directors of ICD’s Northeast division, he covers CT, MA, ME, NJ, NH, RI, and VT. Tyler has his series 7, 66 and 24 licenses.

Tyler and his wife, Marra, live in Gulfport, Florida. In their free time, they enjoy traveling, exploring the Tampa Bay area and getting out on the water as much as possible.
