Raymond James welcomes experienced financial advisor with $200 million in assets

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Raymond James welcomed financial advisor Howard Kaplan to Raymond James Financial Services (RJFS) – the firm’s independent advisor channel – according to David Sisemore, Midwest division director for RJFS.

Kaplan joins the team at Riegel Financial, which has been established for 50 years and is based out of offices in both Cincinnati and Dayton, Ohio. Together with the group’s three other advisors and four support staff, he provides total financial and tax planning strategies for multi-generational and high-net-worth clients across the country. Kaplan was previously affiliated with Stifel, where he managed approximately $200 million in client assets.

Kaplan offers nearly 30 years of experience specializing in wealth management strategies. Prior to joining Raymond James, he was affiliated with his previous firm since 2005. Kaplan has attained both the Certified Investment Management Analyst® designation through the Investment & Wealth Institute and the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® designation. In addition to his professional education, he holds a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University and an MBA from Xavier University. Kaplan is highly involved in his community and serves on several boards and investment committees.
