David Eckhart

David Eckhart is a managing director in the municipal finance department and works in the Lancaster, Pennsylvania, office. David joined the firm in March 2022. His focus is to secure business for the firm with large issuer accounts. David has been working in the public finance area for 40 years. He has worked for several firms over that span, starting at EF Hutton in 1982. In addition to Hutton, he has worked for Lehman Brothers and was the founding principal of investment for the Management Advisory Group. He has worked in all sectors of municipal finance and has significant expertise with municipal hedging and investment products. David graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing, and furthered his education at Penn State, where he received his MBA.
