With more than 35 years of whole loan experience, Kerwin’s primary responsibilities include the analysis and pricing of mortgage loans, as well as pricing and marketing of servicing from banks, thrifts, credit unions and other mortgage lenders. Kerwin also manages the closing of mortgage loan sale transactions, particularly in the GSE and commercial loan scope, and serves as a primary contact for Raymond James regarding the delivery of loans for sales or securitizations with the GSEs.

Before entering the secondary mortgage loan market, Kerwin served as a vice president and national account officer with Union Planters National Bank, now Regions Bank. While there, he was responsible for managing bank relationships with major corporations with a presence in the Memphis market. He later joined Morgan Keegan, now Raymond James, in 1984.

After earning a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Mississippi in 1978, Kerwin attended the Mid-South School of Banking in 1981. He later earned a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Memphis in 1983. In addition to his academic achievements, Kerwin also holds Series 7 and 63 licenses.
