Greg Peters rejoined the financial services group of Raymond James Equity Research in 2009. He focuses on life/health, property/casualty, and insurance brokerage and technology companies. Peters’ career following the insurance industry began with Everen Securities and continued at ABN AMRO Inc. Peters’ original tenure with Raymond James began in 1999. Prior to rejoining Raymond James, Peters served as the president of an insurance‐focused private equity firm, where he worked on several insurance agency/company acquisitions and negotiated and secured regulatory and rating agency approvals. He also served on the board of directors of National Health Insurance Company. Peters serves as the chairperson of the CFA Society of New York’s Annual Insurance Conference. He graduated with honors from DePaul University’s Kellstadt Graduate School of Business with an MBA and holds a bachelor’s degree from Drake University.
