John W. Ransom

John Ransom has more than 35 years of experience in the healthcare industry. He spent 10 years at Wachovia and co-founded the healthcare finance group there in 1988 before joining Raymond James in 1996 as a healthcare services analyst. In addition to serving as managing director of the healthcare group, Mr. Ransom covers a diverse array of sectors, including managed care stocks, healthcare providers, drug retailers, deathcare, healthcare IT and other sectors. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Presbyterian College in 1983 and his MBA from the University of Georgia in 1984.
