Juan Carlos Barreto

Juan Carlos Barreto joined Raymond James in 2022 as a director in the Raymond James Healthcare Investment Banking group. He has over 11 years of experience advising public and private companies in mergers & acquisitions, divestitures, financings and capital raises. Mr. Barreto focuses on advising companies in pharmaceutical sector, including specialty and generic pharmaceuticals, contract development, manufacturing organizations and contract packaging businesses.

Prior to Raymond James, Mr. Barreto was part of the healthcare investment banking team at Leerink Partners where he also focused on advising clients withing the pharmaceutical sector. Prior to Leerink Partners, he held healthcare investment banking roles at Wells Fargo Securities working on various M&A and corporate finance transactions in the U.S. and EMEA. Mr. Barreto received his Bachelor of Science in business administration and finance magna cum laude from the University of Florida.
